Honey Bee Control Information

The honeybee is a valuable part of our eco-system. Honeybees build a hive in an inhabit area providing their queen bee a home and nectar. The honeybee collects nectar from flowers during the springtime.

When the honeybee collects pollen a flower can create more seeds by the transfer of that pollen. Essentially, the honeybee takes the flowers pollen and spreads its seed. This helps create more flowers.

If honeybees were to go extinct we would have to rely on other insects to spread flower pollen. Please, you should still stay away from a bee swarm and, or beehive. If the beehive is close to a residential area it is likely that it is an Africanized bee hive. The African Bee is much more aggressive than the honeybee. If you see a bee please keep your distance.

If you see a swarm of bees, stay away. The African bee can be dangerous especially if it is a swarm of African bees.
